Perfect 90* corners!

Used to make frames on which I stretched the canvas. I checked several pieces of scrap to make sure the corners were straight. I accidentally put two 1" x 2" boards in the clamp, tightened the clamp and inserted a couple of pins to secure it, then measured. With a quick layout square I found a perfectly rectangular connection. The boards self-centered and came together exactly where I needed them. The clamps also have some weight and are slotted for attachment to a rework table.

. When I first tested them I realized how poor the handle design was

I bought these for an upcoming bookshelf project and when I first tested them I realized how poor the handle design was . If you don't have a handle hanging off the edge of the workbench, you can only tighten the clamp half a turn. Then you need to push the rod back and tighten another half turn. Terrible design. I removed the clamp bar and made Bessie style grips. Clamps are now much easier to use. They seem to be working on leveling the bookshelf for assembly. The time will show.

Bracket can be made! just get it!

Excellent corner clamp for joining two boards of different thicknesses to allow the glue to dry. Really impressed how the corner doesn't sit on top of the clip so you don't have to worry about glue dripping or the clip sticking to the boards! When I clamp, I use a Can-Do clamp for the bottom corner and a smaller corner clamp for the top half. I bought a fake clamp from Harbor Freight, but Revain has a Bessey version that goes well with Can Do Clamp. Corner clamp Bessey WS-3…

should have made things easier but still needs some tweaking

The promise of this tool is great and for most it lives up to its expectation but when I have a 16" and 60" 2x4 Frame built, getting them together in this clamp is a little tricky. This is because the base of the clip is a bit high, so the mass tends to tilt up a bit, interrupting your quest for a perfect 90 degree connection. Clip over the joists (if you have a straight work base to work with) and that mostly helps, but the double hinge makes it a little tricky to attach over the top. I still…

Not perfect, but not bad, especially for the money.

Nice little clip. So far I've only used them for one welding project. They may not be ideal for wands or flashers - I don't think they hold up to prolonged spatter welding, but they got the job I asked them to do without too many side effects. They held the square frame I built while I attached it, which can be an issue due to the way the metal expands and contracts. My only complaint, worth deducting a full star for, is the grip. This glider pen does not work well when trying to level your…

Ideal for woodworking

These clamps are superior to the old angle clamps I have used in my woodworking hobby for many years. The old clamps were difficult to align and I was never guaranteed a 90 degree fit. Not only are these clamps good in terms of ease of use and accuracy, but they hold up to similar resin/plastic products that I've read about breaking when clamped. The price is definitely a bit more than I wanted to spend on one clamp (I bought 2). Having used them I will now invest more and hope I never have to…

Sturdy, perfect square shape

Parts a little out of shape? These brackets are the best I've found. They're a little bulky and a little difficult to master, but once you do, they're golden. Within reason, they will cause all imperfect boards to become square. I made blocks to fit under the clamps to lift them off my workbench so I can install pipe clamps and parallel clamps on the underside to pull the boards together. The left and right sides of the clamps are parallel and flat so the parts will automatically lift - again…

Ideal for square beehives, heavy duty!

Failed to load media. I bought four of these Can-Do clamps to assemble bee colony boxes. The maximum thickness of continuous material on them is 1 and 3/4 inch. The maximum thickness of a flat miter joint or T-joint is 2 and 3/4 inches. . The clamp body is nice and heavy, made of painted aluminum. The threads are of good quality, the yoke holds very tight with very good grip on the shaft. The corners are OPEN, allowing glue to drip onto the joint without damaging the terminal. you also have…
