Worst sensor swap ever!

These sensors were paid for today. When I drove home, two of my tires were completely flat. One of the sensors was missing a part and the technician was unable to replace it. The other tire leaked more slowly. I had to pay the shop again to put tires on. Now I have to order new sensors and pay for their installation. Must be paid three times for the same work. Ridiculous!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

2011 Nissan Titan - Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

Dealer requires 125 units plus labor. bought them and installed them at a local tire shop for $48. Follow google search instructions for do-it-yourself TPMS replacement. I had to do it twice, the first time they didn't take it but the second time it worked. No problems with sensors, no light. I even deflated one of the tires to check and the light came on. Switched off immediately after depressurization. So far, so good.

Arrived quickly, works great, great price

I received another set of rims without sensors for my Nissan Rogue and these sensors arrived very soon after my order. I looked in auto parts stores, they are much cheaper there. I took them to my Firestone dealer and they mounted them, balanced the tires and made sure those sensors were in sync with my TPMS systemโ€”all for less than $90. Since then they have worked without any problems. Very happy with these TMPS sensors.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits

Worked great on a 2006 Nissan 350z, great price!

I put new rims and tires on a 2006 Nissan 350z and didn't want to disassemble the original sensor rims. These sensors were working properly and were registered in the vehicle's monitoring system. I had tires fitted at my local discount tire store (national chain) and made sure they could read the sensors before fitting. Once installed, they connected to the car with their scan tool, the lights went out and the pressure was measured within seconds of driving off. Super happy with the price.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No Instructions

It works if you do it right.

Bought this TPMS kit. The tire shop I went to doesn't want to install it as I'm not sure it will work. The tire guy originally charged me $15 to install the sensor, but I negotiated half the price and they don't have to worry about me coming back to their shop. I won't be able to relearn the sensors at first, after searching YouTube each tire is given the specific pressure needed to complete the process. I would say the sensors work fine if you follow the reset process as explained in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

UPDATE: up to 4 stars <โ€”After purchasing the correct activation tool they worked immediately as described by the company. The magnet didn't do it for me, but LAUNCH TS971 activated it immediately! Says it works out of the box for my 2005 Ford Expedition but NO, it needs to be programmed into the ECU at the dealer which costs $$$. The mistakes persist because I can't relearn them. If you really want that brand, buy items that are generic (programmable) and not HARD PROGRAMMED like this one.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • only available in white color

Great value for money

Great product, works great on my 2001 Nissan Altima. I bought 4 sensors off ebay, installed them and they were dead as a log. I ended up buying them from Revain and taking them to my local discount tire shop, bought 4 tires and had them install my sensors and even went back to the factory wheels. A few hours later I took my car back and the TPMS light was still on, they told me to drive the car for a few days, the light should go out fine, which didn't work, so I did the rest of the lightsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • So far so good

Tire pressure indicator is still on after 2 sets. . Ugh!

We bought these sensors with new tires for my 2009 Nissan Murano. They scanned great before fitting, but after fitting they either read the wrong print or nothing at all. 2 of our local tire shops couldn't program them properly with their scan tools. We asked for a replacement and they sent us a new set of 4. They arrived the next day. We took the car back to the tire shop to have a replacement fitted (it cost us $25) and the new kit did the same. The tire pressure light is still on. We are soโ€ฆ
