I really like these. I haven't noticed any health benefits and I can't sleep with them in my bedroom because they're too light, but they give off a nice glow. Kind of orange. The lamps themselves are quite heavy. At first I was a bit worried because the packaging was terrible. I'm even surprised they still work. It took me some time to find the lightbulbs stuffed into the stone itself. I paid less than $20 for both, so a lot overall.

I've bought more salt lamps than I can count as gifts and I always check before I give them away. I cannot express enough my disappointment with this purchase. They use the same images in Hemingweigh Natural Salt Lamps, but the quality is very different. The bases were almost ripped off the rock, there were no plastic stoppers at the bottom of the cork to prevent the bulb from reaching the top of the salt lamp. I received both salt lamps but unfortunately one of them was broken. I don't even understand how the lamp plug broke. The packaging was ok. My guess is that it was carelessly packed on the way to me, was already broken or wobbled badly. Plus, it's beautifully made at a great price. The first impression when opening the box was excellent. Well made stones, quite dusty and straight from the quarry that need cleaning before installing a simple bracket. This is where the problems and headaches begin. One of the bulbs was ripped into pieces during the shipping process. I wish I had researched more about Himalayan salt lamps before I missed the return deadline. The two lamps I received arrived intact although the packaging was minimal; I'm surprised they did after reading other reviews. My problem is that they are definitely not real. I found out that ALL "Himalayan" salt lamps are only from Pakistan and many companies are selling old salt lamps fraudulently.
