🚿 Moen T2131BN Eva Posi-Temp Tub/Shower Valve Trim Kit with Brushed Nickel Finish - Valve Required Review

Nice metal shower handle. Bought to replace an old Moen dial. But the handle sticks out of the base more than I expected and I couldn't tell from the photos.

I like the nickel brush and its design but I couldn't get water stains out after the first use. The nickel plating on the brush looked very uneven. Since it's already installed, I never remove it. dissatisfied with this product.

We had a couple of old Moen plastic teardrop pens that kept breaking, so I replaced them with a couple of these. These trims: - Perfect for Moen valves - They are quick and easy to install (maybe 5 minutes and all you really need is a screwdriver) - Looks and feels good! They are heavy and appear high quality - they are inexpensive.

Replaced the old Moen teardrop grip with this trim set. The screws that attach the back plate to the valve are in positions 2 and 7. Moen made this trim kit to accommodate different thicknesses of shower screen. If your shower wall is thin, the handle will seem to protrude from the back wall, ie the thicker the wall, the tighter the handle will fit the back wall. It may sound silly, but not all shower screens are created equal. If your wall is just right, it will fit perfectly.

I bought this kit to replace an existing Moen faucet so the Moen valve others mentioned was already in the wall. The instructions were clear and simple, but I didn't really need them because everything just fell into place logically. No missing parts and no parts left! I can't believe how many years I struggled with my old plastic knob when it was so easy to replace it with a new single lever knob.
