poor design in rough plumbing

poor design, external flush handle protrudes too far and when you lift the toilet seat, the toilet seat cannot stay up because it protrudes far. Everything in the cabin is also plastic, not bronze, the thread is cheap and quickly erased. Disappointed in Moena, had to buy something at a plumber's shop, that's the kind of qualification you'd expect from a big shop, but $20 ain't cheap for basic leverage.

Pros
  • hands-free operation
Cons
  • high price

If you want them to fit other Brantford faucets and towel rails

The main reason to buy this tank lever over others should be that you want the tank lever to fit the Moen faucets of the same name. If not, there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good. However, it is a solid lever with up-down and left-right adjustment. It's better than most cheap levers. My only complaint is that it wobbles a bit when you press it as the lever is moved, due to the flexing of the tank opening and lever.

Can washing up be fun? Part 2 I do not recommend.

I love how this pen feels, sounds and works! I know it sounds crazy but I really enjoy dishwashing with it! Part 2. We used it for a few weeks and the plastic components broke. My husband attached it with super glue, but with such fragile materials it doesn't deserve a recommendation. I got the impression I could count on Moen taking years rather than weeks. We are renovating and I just switched all my faucets, towel rails and rings, TP holders etc from Delta to Moen. This seriously worries me.

  • Dope 🔥

  • Ugly packaging

Looks good, doesn't work!

I love these pens! I buy 3 pieces for all my toilets. Pros: Installation was easy. Looks nice. Cons: All three toilets are now constantly on and need to be adjusted after use. The handles need constant adjustment because they move but aren't flush so you have to tighten the plastic nut all the time. This handle is only for toilets that use a chain or long piece of rubber to raise the plunger, not for toilets with a long handle that goes through a hole attached to the plunger. I need to buy a…

Imperfect design - plastic parts wear out quickly

As other reviewers have pointed out, the lever that raises the piston (through the chain in my tank) only works when the plastic nut on the lever is tightened where it connects to the handle. Wave. The lever itself is smart and allows for multiple angles that I need to angle my lever hole. But after 6 months these plastic parts started to wear out, the handle slipped past the hand and didn't lift it. I had to frequently tighten it with pliers to considerable torque to get it to grip the lever…

Plastic wears out almost immediately

While the design and finish is very nice, the construction makes it a waste of time and money. A plastic screw and nut is attached to the flush handle to secure it to the tank. In addition, the flushing arm is a gimmick that is very easy to adjust, allowing you to adjust any tank size with one turn of a screw and held in place with one more nut. There are "gears" (for lack of a better word) that are designed to move the flush lever when the handle is turned. The problem is that this whole…

Bad Design in Rough Plumbing

Most toilet cistern levers are one-piece, with a handle attached directly to the lever that raises the damper. On the lever of the Moen Brantford tank, the handle is attached to the lever with a screw. When you press on the handle, the screw loosens, so the hand stops moving when you press on the handle. The toilet bowl levers should work like a swing: one side goes down, the other up. Moen's lever is like a seesaw with a big screw in the middle: one side goes down and the weight on the other…

looks nice. the rest is complete bullshit.

How can you ruin a metal bar that other toilets have been using for over 100 years? Give it to Moen and have them recreate it with a little plastic cog and an extra 90 degree bend and a lever that pivots with a plastic screw! Seriously, this thing has 3 moving parts and more angles than a math textbook. If the hand isn't quite right, it will hit the top of the tank and the breech will not fully lift. If the chain is not perfectly tensioned, the flap will not lift when flushed, or it will leak…

  • The list will be long.
