Review on Moen Brantford Decorative Toilet Tank Lever in Oil Rubbed Bronze - YB2201ORB by Charles Phillips

Plastic wears out almost immediately

While the design and finish is very nice, the construction makes it a waste of time and money. A plastic screw and nut is attached to the flush handle to secure it to the tank. In addition, the flushing arm is a gimmick that is very easy to adjust, allowing you to adjust any tank size with one turn of a screw and held in place with one more nut. There are "gears" (for lack of a better word) that are designed to move the flush lever when the handle is turned. The problem is that this whole device (except for the handle itself) is made of plastic. I tried it on my toilet and the first flush was fine; the second or third was doubtful, and by the fourth or fifth flush the plastic gears had worn so far that squeezing the handle had no effect on the washing machine lever at all. I will be returning this and will have to go to a proper plumbing store to get what I really need.
