Includes over temperature, over load, short circuit, and clipping protection circuits. Input connections: balanced Phoenix connector, dual RCA, stereo 3. 5mm. They are also magnetically shielded to prevent interference with other devices.

Not well grounded, makes loud hum

That's good because it's an active system, but the amp makes an annoying loud hum at listening levels. It needs improvement.

was not as loud or good as I expected (sound quality)

decent speakers, weren't as loud or good as I expected (sound quality) but for the price it is worth it. perfect for a space that is open plan and is about 400 square feet. Again, not the best sound quality, but what can you expect for less than $150? I give him three stars.

Weak, heavy, a waste of time ordering them to bring them back.

The ones I got were broken so I'm not giving them a star but the weak sound we got from them let me wondering why they are so heavy because self powered speakers that can blast my walls weigh less and can't play ambient music. Incidentally, they look styled like floor-standing loudspeakers, but are not designed for outdoor use.

There was a crooked knob...

Sound quality: 3 stars Sound quality is so-so - don't expect much from it A kit costs less than $150. Loud enough for our 1400 square meter school canteen. The specified frequency range is somewhat marginal - there was an unacceptable level of harmonic distortion - the speakers sounded "booming", not clean at all.
