Excellent All Round Shock Boot

Although designed for a specific Monroe shock, this is a good all round shock for other applications. at a fraction of the OEM replacement cost. OEM is obviously better, but this one gets the job done and is certainly reliable enough to last for years to come.

  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Little Things

Not for my style of shock

They look solid and are great value. But after an hour of trying to figure out how they fit, I realized they didn't suit my shock style. They were for my truck's front shock absorbers; but ONLY if the shock didn't have a shield over the piston. The Monroe Gas Mag shocks I bought have piston guards. So these didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Shock & Vibration Control
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The cover was great quality but when I ordered the steering damper from KYB I didn't realize it didn't have one correct position for the boot. This is odd as the shock is truck rated and every other shock/shock I've ever bought has had a trunk. The only exception are shock absorbers/shock absorbers that already have a protector at the end of the stem. For example Old Man Emu. Again, the boots were of great quality! I'll probably change the shock in a few months and switch to one geared towards…

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • Expensive
