This coaster saved my life by preventing scratches on my white porcelain sink. I can put metal pots and pans on the grid and don't have to worry about gray stains on the floor. While a porcelain sink that easily stains with any color of food it comes in contact with makes me extra wary, not having to worry about scratches also gives me a bit of relief. I would easily buy another larger one to match my sink, but I have an unusually sized sink and this one at least makes it!
