Good price and upgrade for me

What can you say, this is an auto part. But it came well packaged and as described. And definitely better than the bolts that came before.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Quality

Works as advertised

Put them on my 1999 F150 4x4. They fit great and look exactly like the Moog K8740 set I bought in 2007. The only difference is that they aren't made in the USA, but the old ones were. Again, they look the same and function the same.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Tradeable

Perfect fit for F150 1998 4x2

Perfect fit and easy install on my F150 1998 4x2. I first ordered a competitor brand from an online parts store because it was cheaper, but the screws were too short. Lesson learned: Stick with Moog suspension parts going forward, even if they cost a little more.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Something different

MOOG is still quality parts.

Apparently the truck I bought hasn't been leveled since it left the factory. Here's how to set camber and caster since they use square plates from the factory. I bought these and installed them when replacing the upper control arms and figured the alignment shop would charge me an arm and a leg. I was shocked to see it was HALF THE PRICE of the local big auto parts store.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not bad

Worked great! - spares

I swapped the upper and lower control arms on a 2003 F150 XL which was causing too much positive camber. It was very obvious. There is no way to customize it as the factory setting doesn't give you that option. These screws did the job. After installing them, I took the truck to the shop and they fine-tuned the settings. It was easy to install, although the instructions gave a blurry picture of how to do it. If in doubt, just google it and watch the video.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • expensive

2002 Ford F 150 5.0 4x4 XLT

So here's the contract from the Ford factory that sent these trucks with washers in the upper arm bolts to align them. Quite a hassle as they are not sold in any leveling shop. When replacing my upper control arms, the front studs got stuck in the bushings (rusted). I still had to cut them out. Ordered them and they fit great, took them to the alignment shop and they had no problem adjusting the alignment. Use a non-stick coating on the socket insert to avoid cutting them out again.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Negative impression

Moog K8740 cam bolt kit was a perfect fit for my '97 Ford Expedition 4x4

I bought a Moog K8740 cam bolt kit for my '97 Ford Expedition 4x4. Although difficult, they fit perfectly and the alignment guy said they work great. I swapped them out for an upper ball joint as part of an upper control arm. My upper ball joint has been bad and the alignment specialists have been complaining for the last few times. I recommend replacing this upper arm bolt, but take the time to mark the existing adjustment bolt before removing it and transfer the marks to these new…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
