Smoother safer driving

My mechanic installed these 2 ball joints and adjusted the wheels which was impossible without them. The result is a smoother and safer ride. The cost was about half what I would have received locally.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Bad kit

Moog makes the best undercarriage parts!

I have used Moog in various vehicles for many years. They make the best chassis/suspension parts. Parts are designed to last longer than other Chinese junk. This lower ball joint for A32 was very easy to assemble. You will need either a factory press or a ball joint service kit to remove the old and install the new. Highly recommended. Revain has the best prices.

Best joints: shock absorbers, struts and suspension

I only use Moog ball joints for car repairs. They might cost a few bucks more, but if you're running a fancy Maxima that's going 150+, do you really want to save a few bucks on lower ball joints? They keep your front wheels in the same direction, the last thing you need are cheap ball joints. Revains were only a few bucks more than cheap Ebay death traps. If you want to keep the dirt side on any vehicle, simply replace the ball joints with Moog or Beck Arnley.

Pros
  • Robust finish
Cons
  • Protection

Said for my car but according to Revain application does not fit

Been a Moog fan for years. The ball joints I received did not have grease fittings as stated on the website, the claim for my car was the wrong size but the ball joints looked very well constructed. I give 3 stars for parts. The ball joints literally slid up through the hole and didn't need to be pushed. When I let go of the ball joint, it falls to the ground. I checked and rechecked the correct application for my car. I sent them back.

  • Few competitors

Different parts with the same part number

Ball joints arrived quickly. However, there was a problem, I received 2 different ball joints. The boxes were the same, both parts were new and the part number was the same, but they were clearly different. The packages were different too. I noticed a difference when I picked it up from the store. The mechanic said he'd never seen anything like it, so he kept both the boxes and the packaging. One was a Moog with a grease fitting, the other looked like a factory ball joint with no grease…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Annoying

Don't skimp on ball joints - take

Very high quality product. Installed them on the Nissan Maxima and the ride was very smooth. Don't waste your money on cheap ball joints. I've seen cheap ball joints start to fail after only 1 year of installation on a Honda Accord. Another high-end brand is Mevotech. The quality of the Mevotech Supreme line can even be surpassed. I didn't use a press to install them. I heated the control lever around the ball joint with an acetylene air gas torch and hit the bolt with a mallet. I did the same…

Should have looked at them better when I got them.

Received fairly quickly but due to a change in work schedule and then due to the fact that the car's gearbox failed (under warranty on the refurbished unit) I just had to look after them carefully to look for, prepare to install later this week. It didn't help that one of my kids put them aside and I couldn't find them for a while. Long story short, I ONLY found out that while the joints they sent us are interchangeable, they are COMPLETELY different. Both have the same part number and UPC on…
