Incredible 3D Printing Accessory

Using this product, our team found that it was a game-changer for temperature control during 3D printing. The silicone material was easy to install and provided excellent protection for our printer, making it a must-have for any Industrial and Scientific printing environment. The only downside we found was that it was a bit bulky, but the benefits far outweigh this minor issue. Highly recommend for any additive manufacturing enthusiast!

Pros
  • Effective protection against mosquito bites
Cons
  • Silicone may cause skin irritation for some users

Love it; protects my hot end from my excess fans

My fans are awesome but they brought the hot end down to 15C when it went from 0 to 100. With this sock it now only drops 6.7°C Easy install but you have to thread the heater/thermistor wires. never mind

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing
Cons
  • no automatic

Fits. Is working.

This works fine for me on the Mosquito hot end connected to my Railcore printer. I had some problems with filament clogging and it helped protect the hotend and BTtouch and also gave me more confidence that the silicone cover would protect the system from ugly cleaning if I had another filament problem. Since your thermistor and heating element can be mounted on either side, you will need to cut off part of the boot to bypass the wires. This is a practical solution, not a problem as some posts…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived
