The box the spool came in was sealed with a large piece of clear tape. The box has definitely seen better days. The coil I received was fully functional but was either pre-installed or mis-stored. If you are reading this I would suggest using the Accel Supercoil. I regret this purchase. However, as far as I can tell the coil is fully OEM. It fitted my 1990 Ford F350 7.5 perfectly.
