Ideal for music ski helmets. I don't use a mouthpiece but you can control and pause the music without catching your hand in the helmet and even charge the mouthpiece/controls you see in the picture. These headphones are good for the price. The speakers are quite large, so it's quite difficult to fit in a helmet. Not bad for the money. I put it in my Smith Camber snowboard helmet to listen to music while I cruise down the slopes. So far everything is working fine. Note that the speaker-compatible Smith helmet foam liners have a removable section to make room for the speakers.
