I was intrigued by the idea that with a DSLR I can focus and zoom on the go and get clearer pictures because I don't have to reach for the lens. Movo mff400 is well made and my cannon 5d fits very well. The only problem I had was that the particular lens I was using had the focus and zoom reversed on the lens so I just swapped the motors and the problem was solved. So many things I don't like. The screws broke within a day with VERY light use. The motors are clumsy, the controls cheap and not sensitive enough, the assembly of the plates is complete nonsense. It is not tightened, so the camera starts to slide off. Remember I'm using a Sony A7sII. A very light camera, but the tension screws just can't take the weight. Purchased June 2019 and previous reviews are pretty consistent with my findings. Thumbscrews require a lot of force to screw in tight enough to hold the rails in place for many parts. The baseplate has an up and down adjustment, but try as I might, it is not tightened enough that the baseplate cannot simply drop to its lowest position.
