I had to update my review it works great! It doesn't stick to anything, but it's enough to keep a good temperature in the cool part of my snake tank. I have a heater under the tank and there is a rock in the tank above so the rock heats up and gives off heat to the whole room. It works and I wrote a bad review at first

This is terrible equipment. Instead of a dimmer, why not fit a thermostat? It is impossible to find the desired temperature and not keep it unchanged. I ordered 2 different sizes, the larger one I ordered, I turn it on, it goes over 80 right away when I want it to go close to 75. Now I'm stressed out with bad gear and there's no quick way to get anything else.

Very cheap product, not recommended for reptiles. However, I took it on and bought it for a bed bug colony, so if it was cheaply made it wouldn't be a huge problem. Perfect for what I needed it for, just don't think there's anything wrong with it. The product really looks like 2 pieces of thermal tape laminated in plastic. No temperature control, just high and low settings, although the included thermometer is pretty good!

This product is good for my small turtle tank Stinkpot. I have it under the turtle tank itself. It keeps my baby's water at a consistently warm temperature. The downside is that the temperature dial on the power cord doesn't give you any information. That means you have to guess what temperature it's set to. However, I twisted the knob either way and the digital thermometer showed no temperature change at all. So rather a disappointment. But other than that it works great for the price I paid…

I am very disappointed. I keep my room at a very low temperature compared to the ideal temperature for a hamster so I bought this to put under my hamster tank to keep it warm. Since it's a dial, there's no way of knowing how hot you've set it. At its lowest it stays at around 68.7 F (I have a temp gauge in the tank and across from the heat mat) but if I change it to go even the smallest amount higher it jumps to 117.5 F.
