Works like a charm: my feedback

The price is right, but plan on spending an additional $1,000-$1,500 for a professional install. I had a plumber tap into our existing gas line and run it across the room to hook this baby up. It warms up the room very quickly, so I'm happy! My workshop will never be an ice box again, nor will I drop $600/mo on electric heating. In fact, this heater warms up my shop, which is roughly 150 sq ft, but also keeps the garage it's attached to warmer as well. Honestly, the only drawback is that we've…

Pros
  • Good heater. Warms 329 sq ft room on setting 3 to 70 degrees F.
Cons
  • Nothing....Wouldn't work for me

Best heater on the planet.

The part I needed for my old heater costs more than I paid for this heater plus this heater heats the room heats the room twice as fast with half the gas. Plus it has a built-in thermostat. Mr. Heater claims that you may have a problem with the ODS above 4500 ft. This is my fifth Mr. Heater purchase and I have never had a problem above 7000 ft.

Pros
  • It’s working great
Cons
  • The unit may experience mechanical failures, leading to frequent repairs or replacements

Heater works fine. What I did not know is that when .

Heater works fine. What I did not know is that when thermostat called for heat all three burners kicked on. That I don't like. The heater I had before was the same type with 3 burners,But only one came on at a time. For that reason,I took it back down and I am using the old one.I will probably sell the Mr Heater stove.

Pros
  • Works great, priced great and easy to install
Cons
  • It is not child-proof, and children may accidentally injure themselves by touching the hot surface

Like Mr. Heater; however, too large (footprint) for my needs.

I wish one could purchase a SMALLER-SIZED heater. Not referring to BTU units. If a person needs only 10,000 BTU instead of 30,000 BTU, why is the overall size of the item still as large. Takes up too much space for me, thus the low rating.

Pros
  • Just right
Cons
  • It is not recommended for use in rental properties due to potential liability issues and safety concerns

Works well: my feedback

The hardest part was getting the natural gas connection right. The connection is inside the heater and you have to take the cabinet apart to get at the fitting to make your connection. Mine may have been missing a part, but I felt I also had to make a part that would hold the piping in place where it comes out of the heater so it doesn't cause undue stress to the connections and piping inside the heater cabinet. The heater itself works very well and am quite happy with it.

Pros
  • For my Laundry Room
Cons
  • The burner may not ignite properly, requiring frequent relighting

Fan takes too long to turn on.

I added the fan to the unit. By the time the unit gets hot enough for the unit to turn on the fan, the room is about to temperature. Need to reposition the temperature sensor closer to the heat source?

Pros
  • EASY TO USE puts out plenty of heat.
Cons
  • I received a 30,000 btu instead of a 20,000. I wanted something smaller instead of bigger.

Good device good for me

Good quality. Two stands's screws could be longer or sturdier. Better to have a handle in the back. It appears Ebay sent me a returned unit. Glad all parts were there.

Pros
  • Great product easy to install
Cons
  • The heater is not energy-efficient, increasing utility bills and expenses

Total JUNK.: my feedback

DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER.I received this as a Christmas present and just got around to opening it.They assembled the unit with a stripped out main connector. The components are so cheap they feel like they're made out of tinfoil.I am past my window to return the item so I guess I just have to take the hit.BUYER BEWARE,,,,, the parts inside are so cheap I would be afraid it would blow up.

Pros
  • Ordered for a friend, he's happy with it
Cons
  • It does not have a safety cover or shield, increasing the risk of accidental burns or injuries

works great , arrived early

We had a 30K propane heater in the basement and it was too much heat. It was constantly turning on and off and never really warming up the entire area. The new 20K natural gas heater stays on longer and keeps the entire area nicely warm

Pros
  • Was a blue flame not a radiant like described.
Cons
  • It consumes natural gas, which is a non-renewable resource and harms the environment

Works as expected good for me

Works great at 5,280 ft elevation. Takes about an hour to warm my uninsulated and poorly sealed garage that is around 500 sqft.

Pros
  • These are nice. I have 2 of them.
Cons
  • It may take time to warm up and start providing heat, causing discomfort and frustration

Wonderful Heater - Purchasing A Second Unit For Mom

I wanted an emergency backup heat source in case of a winter power outage, generator and/or furnace malfunction. The install was easy. You just need a basic knowledge on how to use pipe wrenches, GAS RATED thread sealant tape or "pipe dope" to ensure no gas leaks. I would suggest a friend or contractor you trust to install the gas line if you have no experience with pipe thread. The mounting bracket provided to wall mount this unit as I did is simple and effective. For the natural gas supply I…

Pros
  • Installed in gameroom place on wall set thermostat on #3 heats room very well
Cons
  • The heater may cause skin or eye irritation due to direct exposure to the heat or fumes

WAY better than Promo products

I absolutely love the stove. There is no assembly and all you need is a flexible gas pipe and gas outlet from wall.Wonderful product.

Pros
  • Works good
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for use during power outages due to the dependence on natural gas

works like it should

had to order a kit to connect it then not correct fittings had to go to home depot why not include a 90 deg to hook to a 20lb tank

Pros
  • Perfect.
Cons
  • The heater may emit a strong gas odour if there is a leak or malfunction, causing discomfort and alarm

Pops a lot when cooling

I live in an older remodeled home, and these are good heaters and I have several but the one I got for my daughter pops a lot when cooling. (Metal on metal cooling after it switches off) So much so it was keeping my daughter awake at night, so I had to switch it with another brand from another room. Also, this one doubled in price in just one month just because it got a little colder out, but I had to replace an older defective one so bit the extra cost.

Pros
  • Love it. Like a beautiful fireplace
Cons
  • The heater is not visually appealing and may not fit in with modern décor

Great heat source!: my feedback

I love this heater. It heats up a large area in my home, I feel like it is very safe. I had a local handyman hook it up for me, it took him about 30 minutes. He did check out a YouTube video to be prepared, but there were no issues.I'm completely satisfied with this heater and may get a second one, my home is 1300 sq ft. It heats all the spaces I'm currently using, which is over half. Two would definitely heat the entire house.

Pros
  • We love our new heater
Cons
  • It requires a compatible gas line connection, which may not be readily available in some locations

nice stove for my opinion

I mounted the stove with the leg kit very easy to set up stove works great cycles on and off with the themostat heats great even on the lowest settings would recommend this stove

Pros
  • Works wonderfully and reliable
Cons
  • The heater does not come with a warranty, leaving buyers vulnerable to defects or problems

A waste of time best in my review

Heater was opened before, parts missing and total wast of time. Unfortunately one star is the lowest rating, only good thing is the return policy.

Pros
  • Excellent unit; heats very well.
Cons
  • It may not be compatible with all types of gas or fuel, limiting its usefulness

Great little heater.

Works great for the 8' x 16' enclosed back porch room (room is insulated) I needed to heat. I have it on the lowest setting it still keeps it at a comfortable temperature, even at -5 degrees outside. It comes off and on as it's needed. Would buy again!

Pros
  • We have not hooked it up as yet but seems to do what we need it for.
Cons
  • Needs a fan because it overhearts quick and turns off to cool down.
