Mr Heater Rings Soft Fittings Review

There was a gas leak from the 100 lb. Propane tank powering my gas fireplace. I found that the seal o-ring that went into the valve had flattened and hardened and was no longer sealing. The hardest part was removing the old one without damaging the connector. This continued and my fireplace could be used with a remote control without having to run outside and turn on the tank. And no propane! Win! Win! And 9 extras for my other propane devices.

Didn't know what to expect for such a good price. I received them in a resealable bag in the display's retail packaging. This added feature of the inner pouch made it very easy to open the outer pouch without the o-rings flying all over the place. 6 that I have used to replace old and/or missing o-rings are great. I purposely tried to ruin one of these and it kept slipping into the ring groove. A minor issue is the stability of the plasticizer and its operating temperature range. These factors…

So far so good. I have an older Coleman POL disposable tank assembly to connect my 20 lb tank to camping equipment like a Coleman propane stove. The o-ring is cracked but the hose is still in excellent condition. I was able to replace the o-ring on them quickly and easily and I can be confident that the new o-ring will have no problem with propane. The fit was perfect and it seals just like it should. I know Revain should make some money and it's a small fringe item so I can't complain about…
