Fantastically beautiful cooler required for MSI installation!

Just a few days before my Ryzen motherboard and 1700x were due to ship, my friend accidentally noticed that the 1700x did NOT come with a Wraith cooler. My old Hyper 212 evo cooler was supposed to be compatible, but the Coolermasters AM4 adapter mount sold out immediately and is still out of stock. Stumbled across this by accident and considering I have an MSI Gaming graphics card and an MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard it wasn't difficult. The LED backlit screen looks amazing next to my MSI…

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Pretty cool for a Ryzen 1800X!

Pros: Excellent packaging, presentation and aesthetics. Installation was very easy. Allows push/pull configuration. Configuration as you don't have a lot of room to work with if you have a high profile heatsink. Review: Before I got Ryzen, I ran my i5-2500k with a Kraken x60. I decided to upgrade to Ryzen but would rather save money and upgrade to a full custom liquid cooling loop. I didn't have any money so I thought I'd stick to air for now and this CPU cooler caught my eye. Installation was…

Cooler Icy Draconic

I needed a decent cooler for my new Ryzen 5 setup, but the mounts for my Hyper 212+ were still not available. That's how I found this nice looking piece of metal and plastic. MSI can even make an attractive CPU cooler. I am impressed. Installation was relatively painless and the instructions were easy to follow. I didn't use the paste that came with it and added some Arctic MX-4 instead. So keep that in mind. It was pretty hot in here, so my last test was in a room with a temperature of 28…

Very good cooler for my Ryzen 7 1700

Great performance and great looking cooler. I don't have any other MSI stuff in my laptop, but I love dragons and it's VERY hard to find a cooler with dragons on it, especially one that's fully AM4 compatible out of the box. The mounting solution is not difficult to figure out and seems to be putting a lot of pressure on the IHS. Temperatures are down at least 5 C compared to the still very good AMD Wraith Spire RGB that was included in the R7 1700. It may not sound like much, but often idle…

More beautiful and powerful than the "S " variant

First impression Comment Comparison with the "S" variant (the "L" model is a product with silver heat pipes, and the "S" model - with copper-colored pipes). I ordered the "L" variant (large model) but it doesn't actually fit in my build because unfortunately it doesn't fit in my Zalman S2 case (it's so tall it sticks out the side of my case tempered glass). . panels; which could damage my motherboard and CPU if something hits the panel). I ordered the "S" variant (small model) the next day…

  • Always liked

Quiet and cool CPU fans

I have no idea what the warm rating means. Is it getting warm? Does the computer stay warm while working? I have no idea why I rated it a 3 as the rating name makes no sense to me in relation to a fan. The fan comes with its own set screws. The frame has built-in rubber buffers to prevent vibration. The side with the dragon print goes inside. Installation was easy in my case as there was nothing preventing fans from being installed on my desktop computer. Turn off your computer and disconnect…

I was desperate for an AM4 cooler but this was a great purchase!

First I'll tell you a story about AM4. Shortly after the release of the Ryzen 5 series, I wanted to build a Ryzen rig. I had trouble finding AM4 compatible CPU coolers but I found 2 of them: MasterLiquid Lite 120 and MSI Core Frozr L. I also found something from Australia that looked like it would be easier to install but it was damn difficult. much more expensive then. I used MasterLiquid Lite 120 but when I started to install there were no instructions for AM4 and it wouldn't install! So I…
