Great card, a bit expensive

First all the little kids screaming and saying about the price, don't buy from speculators. go out! Don't tell others what to do and show me a place to get 30 series or any card at MSRP. Even the manufacturers have increased the prices tenfold. I've never seen the 3060 sell for the original MSRP of $300-400. Don't be mad at people smart enough to create custom scripts who buy hardware! Now for the actual review! I upgraded from my rtx 2070 knowing full well I would only see a 5-10 fps jump in…

Pros
  • Memory interface: 192-bit
Cons
  • Hard to say

Baby episode 30.

When I was in the process of building my new PC, I needed a high-end PC that could run everything, including ray tracing, on Ultra. I originally wanted to get the 3070 as a compromise with the 3080 which just doesn't exist. I was willing to pay between 1100 and 1300. Last week, Sony announced that the prices of the chips used in the production of most electronic panels will rise slightly. Of course, 3070 series cards cost around $1500 to $1600. My final compromise was to buy the 3060. It didn't

Pros
  • VRAM: 12GB GDDR6
Cons
  • not reliable

Great while it works

Works great for 33 days. I woke up this morning and there was no video. I took it out of the PCI-E slot and put it back in - to no avail. Moved to another PCI-E slot, no luck. Switched to another computer, did not help. Uses my previous 7 year old graphics card, works as I type. The Revain return policy expired 5 days ago. Contacted MSI via online support. Messages returned immediately about what to check. RMA process started. Will update review/rating based on experience.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

A good choice if you can beat the scalpers

I managed to buy one of them at retail price. The card itself is quite bulky, but I think that's the case with most RTX series cards. It's on the low side in terms of noise and heat. You will definitely feel more fan activity from the case vents after using this. I was able to play Control with RTX enabled on full settings at around 30fps without stuttering. Although the MSI is a bit more expensive compared to other 3060s, it's worth the price.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
