Description of 💧 Naples Naturals NBLK109-1 109X1 Alkaline Water Pitcher: Chlorine & Contaminant Removal, pH Boost – Black (AOK109-BLK-01)

With a pH above 9 the water from Naples Naturals will taste much different to standard tap water. High pH alklaine water is distinct in its taste and may not suit your taste buds. Please do not purchase this item if you have little experience with Alkaline high pH water. A more conservative route is to try drinking some high pH Alakline water from a specialty store or your friends before diving into this type of the pitcher which is rated as “Best of the Best” Alkaline Water Pitcher Filter by Best Reviews. Please use a calibrated digital meter if you are trying to verify the pH levels. Test strips are generally not too accurate as they need to be calibrated to the type of pH range they will be measuring and color is simply imprecise. We recommend something similar to Apera pH20. You must properly rinse the filter before using it as described in the instructions contained on the side panel of the retail package, the user guide inside the retail package and also please veiw our set up video to see how the pitcher should be set up. The pitcher is designed to hold 2 L of filtered water - that is 4 fill buckets of water into the empty container. If there is water already in the pitcher, use less fill buckets. If you overfill the pitcher, the fill bucket will not empty and when you pour water into a glass, it will pop the lid off, water will spill all over your counter and you'll become unhappy with us. Please don't overfill your pitcher. The natural process used to create our high pH water is slow and can sometimes result in a clogged filter. Please read our troubleshooting guide (on the side of the retail package) if you experience this. Do not, under any circumstances, try to pour water before the fill bucket is empty. Water will spill all over the counter because the pitcher is not designed to be used when there is water in the fill bucket. If there is water in the bucket and you need to have a glass of water, remove the fill bucket by lifting it from the front and place it in the sink before pouring your glass of water.

Love it. Works great

I like it very much. That works great. I bought it from another company and had to return it as the filter became clogged after just a few days. This has worked very effectively and I have been using it for about six weeks now.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Structural defects in casting.

I first bought this as a second filtered water jug for the house. This is where the design failed. Try to pour more, the lid will fall off. water is everywhere. I don't know which part of this bottle has bad mechanics, but it's a nuisance. The lid on the spout opens and closes as the water squirts out, but VERY slowly. If you tip the pitcher more, you think maybe you're not pitching enough. The whole lid falls off and water is everywhere. It's not worth it! Pay extra money and get the real…

PH 8.5-9 from Oregon tap water

Tested with perfect PH (also on Revain) and it really boosted the PH. My tap water in the OR was about 4.5 (acidic). I compared my regular filter (expired drip filter) to a solid 8 (neutral) after boiling and then filtered tap water in this Naples Natural jug, somewhere between an 8.5-9 (alkaline) I think. Was it helpful? Inform me! Not a critical difference, but it seems to do what it says. Other reviews are correct, although the pouring/pouring action isn't particularly well thought out and…

not a very good buy

firstly it takes forever for the cartridge to clog and drain into the jug, we have had this jug for 3 months now, yes its easy to use there are a few nasty features . Water has been filtered for ages and when you pour a drink you mostly get unfiltered water, less than 3 months use and we engineered a leak, with all the design features, it leaves very few seams that if they aren't properly sealed , will leak, it hasn't been hit, but today I found a large puddle of water around the jug on our…

Litmus test, makes alkaline plz more

In short, this filter MAKEs acidic tap water alkaline! More details below. I made a few mistakes early on and tried to pour out the filtered water while there was still water in the top "reservoir". The lid came off and water splashed EVERYWHERE! At least my counter and floor got cleaned up! I don't think it's too bulky in the fridge compared to other filters I've used. If you are a family of more than 1 person drinking from this you might want to get 2. Now explain my litmus test. I would like
