🌞 Enhanced GPS Navigator Shade: 5 Inch Anti-Reflective Sun Visor Review

Installs easily and works as advertised. The shade keeps most of the sun off my GPS screen, making the screen clearer and making it easier to see the map and directions. The device snaps into place and stays on until you drop the device. If you drop the GPS, the curtain will fall off naturally, but won't slow down and easily reattach. I haven't used the more expensive models, but I can't imagine they perform any better. Good buy, good product.

Seems to work very well for its purpose. I had a fit issue on my Garmin GPS. Clips on both sides have different shapes and sizes. The large clip held my GPS well while the smaller clip didn't snag much. This caused the GPS to constantly "sag" to one side, especially when walking on "bumps" in the road. I have never bought anything that is returned so quickly. The item was sent in a thin plastic bag in a bubble envelope. The shield had thin strips of foam to protect the GPS. About half of them fell apart. The shield attaches to your GPS, but even if it did fit, its design would block the power plug and power button. The arms that were supposed to run down the sides of the screen weren't parallel. So if you got one side right, the other hand was on the screen. In other words. SHIT!

I modified it a bit to fit my Garmin motorcycle GPS model zumo 396. I removed the clip and put velcro on it. and the sides really reinforce it and almost look like factory. The clip interfered with the retention and power button. just took it off. without breaking it, just removed the two pins holding the clamp. fits very well. and won't go anywhere. I have a GARMIN NUVI 1450LMT 5 inch GPS on the dash. On a recent trip, the sun was at such an angle that it was very difficult to read the screen. I found this shade at a very low price. ($7.50).
