I had unexplained neck pain so I went to see my doctor for some advice. He recommended this heating pad, and it works exactly as he said. Easy to heat up and lasts 15 minutes or so. Also can be used as a cold pack too! Better than an electric heating pad because you don’t need to plug it in.

This is great when it works and doesn’t have any holes. This is a great warm wrap for my neck! After having it on for awhile, the beads do slide down, and I sorta push some back up. It would be great if the manufacturer would do a small type of stitching to keep some of the beads near the top. I like the quality and ease of use and would buy again.

The thermalon is so practical, just 90 seconds or less in the microwave and you have it ready any time. The humid heat is really helpful. I used it for shoulder pain. It is amazing how it relaxes your neck tension that comes from the shoulder pain. For my neck I used it warm, not hot. This pad also relaxes you and make you fall asleep faster after you experience pain.

Stays put on my neck better than the 9”x12” version i was using, but doesn’t hold the heat for as long. Much more sensitive to the heating process than the 9x12” in that i have burnt holes in two others heating the exact same time, (1minute 30 seconds), and the beads, hot as heck spilled out. What a mess. Still, because so dearly needed to diminish the pain in my neck and head and functions so well at that, i purchased a third one. Heating it more cautiously now

This "production run” is very inferior to previous versions. I have purchased this item 2 or 3 times previously and been very happy with the quality, only replacing it when it became discolored due to prolonged heating (after 2 or so years of heavy use). The ties on this new one have shredded and will need to be replaced, and as mentioned by several others, the quality is obviously very inferior and I’ve only had it for a couple of months. Sadly disappointed.

After microwaving only 3 times AS DIRECTED, a hole appeared in it after taking it out of the microwave with the beads coming out. I have previously purchased the back wrap and never had this issue. It says it is not returnable. Hope that is not true. Beware of this product if not returnable.
