This product was very cheap. The packaging was poor so the lid isn't broken or bent. it was thin and not a good product. That really is what you pay for the product. I didn't even wear it as the hat was damaged in shipping. Frustrated consumer!

I wear it when I want to look cute but practical and blend in with the trees when I'm hunting animals with my friends. I thought this hat would go with very big bangs or a messy bun, but it doesn't. The hole is a lot lower than I expected, but it's bigger than a regular pony. I have other bun hats and this one doesn't seem to be made properly. The one on the left is a miscropped hat and the one on the right is perfect for the bun. You can see the difference.

Well made, but too big. Obviously you must have LOTS of hair, THICK hair and/or a big head. I have none of the above. All I have is a high ponytail which I wanted to customize the hat for. Even with velcro and wearing the ears under a bandage I couldn't get it tight enough. Fell off my head the second day wearing it on the boat. Someone will be lucky, he will find it on the shore. I read all the reviews about this hat being big and that's why I ordered it (my head is bigger than the average woman) and it fits well. I assume this will fit perfectly for people with an average head size. I can put it on but it is tight and looks too small from the front. This was bought primarily for my gardening and yard work so it's not a big deal but be warned - if you have a big head it gets pretty snug. I think it's a really cool concept but I have a few complaints. The back tightens with velcro and gets caught in my hair. The hat doesn't fit properly. Does it feel like it's kind of falling forward? It could just be my high ponytail or not being able to tighten the back velcro very well. Next the beak is a bit flat but I tied a ponytail around it to curve it and it would probably shape it if I left it on for a week or so.
