Crappy Makeup is suitable for make-up remover

In fact, these are dishwashing detergents. This cleanser does not foam at all, if at all, or even a little. It's chemically similar to Dawn conditioner, so it can easily remove oil and oil-based substances like makeup from the skin. Of course, both Dawn and this "makeup remover" are pH neutral, so really skin-friendly. But I've been using the "makeup remover" test for about two weeks, and after every wash my face feels dry and in dire need of a rehydration.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Spilled Mash makeup remover

I love this product and have been using it for a long time. It can be a bit drying, so if you have dry or sensitive skin I'm not sure how this would work for you. I only give 1 star because the packaging is inadequate. I usually buy mine at the store but have decided to skip this one and buy from Revain instead. I received it today and it was in a box with no packing material and fell over everywhere. It was a disaster. I think I'll have to buy it in store at some point.

Pros
  • Keeping My Fists

  • Available in white only

Doesn't lather much but removes makeup SO WELL

So my first impression was that the bottle was a nice size; This means it lasts a lot longer than others I've used. The second was that the name doesn't quite fit the "lather" part because it just doesn't lather very well. Most importantly, though, it's incredibly good at removing makeup and any residue from your pores - which is where this cleanser excels. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase but will definitely consider other Neutrogena products that will probably lather a lot more than…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Almost everything is available

Just a basic cleaner

It doesn't foam like I thought. When you pump it out of the bottle, the product has the same consistency as regular non-lathering hand soap. It's not my favorite scent, but it smells very "clean". It's a very gentle facial soap, but I don't think it's harsh enough to be a makeup remover as advertised. I usually find foundation residue and blush after foundation unless I use makeup remover first. If you are looking for a basic cleaner then this is it! But if you're looking for a foaming makeup…

  • Fingers crossed
