I've been a New Balance fan for many years...

I've been a New Balance fan for many years because early in my running years it was the only shoe that was the right width for my foot. I'm old enough to walk, although I run about 80 miles a month, and they're very good at that. I may not be that familiar with hiking boots but it seems like after a few months they lost their profile / became smooth on the bottom. Also, I like to wear the shoes a little looser and I think the friction on the inside edges is causing the fabric to wear out…

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Empty

Great shoes but watch your fit.

Definitely a well made hiking shoe. I love her. However, before buying, I went to a local store and tried on a few variations of the cheaper NB shoes. I wear 11-4E and they all fit well. sooo . .that's what I ordered in this more expensive listing from NB. But these are half a size smaller. I hate giving things back, but the good thing about Revain is that they make it easy. I soon got a size 11 1/2-4E and they fit perfectly.

  • Great fit for me

Engineering miracle in men

After a concentrated engineering project reminiscent of the Manhattan project, the engineering teams have achieved their goal. These shoes, or rather the laces, are the result of this incredible effort. Not only do they look good, they also untie the laces wonderfully. Imagine you are walking your dog. A cat runs by and your best friend runs after it. They give chase and voila, the laces are untied! Or you lead the marathon with a huge prize, both in money and reputation. It was tough stopping…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Periodicity
