Enhanced Comfort with New Balance 520V5 Cushioning Running Men's Shoes for Athletic Performance Review

This shoe is very light and comfortable. I have 2 pairs of running shoes and always choose them for cycling. It feels like there is no extra weight on the legs. Using that logic I would assume these are great running shoes too, but I don't actually run so I don't know. If it's cold outside, you should also wear warm socks, as the mesh fabric is not very insulating.

Initially I loved the product but after 5 weeks of wearing it there was a hole in the mesh lining on the top of the right shoe. Always bought New Balance and never had this problem.

After reading the review I got very high and they suited me. High quality running shoes. Extreme quality insoles without support. I have my own stake in it.

Very light shoes - I was surprised how little they weigh. They are quite comfortable, good arch support. I put them on straight out of the box on the treadmill. They were good for running.

Overall I really like these shoes. I run 5k on tarmac almost every morning and these are good light breathable shoes for this type of running. They fit me perfectly (width 8.5). My only complaint (and the reason for the 4 star rating) is that they have almost no padding or arch support - definitely not suitable for longer runs, at least not out of the box. I've worn 8-1/2, 4E running shoes for over 25 years. I used to wear shoes from another big brand until their toe box shrank to the point where my feet went numb when walking. Then I switched to New Balance. The first pairs I bought were in answer to a prayer, they were so roomy and comfortable. It's been hit and miss ever since. I received my New Balance 520v5 men's running shoes 1-2 months ago. When I first received the shoes I was very disappointed. I finally tried these shoes. man am i disappointed. First I have to tell you that I am a neutral runner with a slight pronation. I put these shoes on and did a fast 5 mile run and noticed that there was no center support. Two days later I did 4 more and these shoes and the next day I had pain in medial part and knee. I've had to drastically cut back on training over the past few weeks. This is exactly when I should increase the distance for my half marathon. I am angry

I think these are good everyday shoes. They are comfortable and wide enough not to pinch your toes. Haven't worn them much as I've only had them a few days but they should last a year or so unless I wear them to gardening etc. They look even better "in person" than them are made online and do not have a slight metallic look along the outsole as shown in the photos.
