Experience Enhanced Performance 🏃 with New Balance FuelCore Running Marblehead Review

As a retired marathon runner (about 30 underfoot), the New Balance has always been my favorite shoe. Excellent stability and comfort. The wider toe box than other brands has always attracted me as protecting my feet (diabetes since 1994) has always been a major concern. I now use these NB as hiking and touring shoes and drive kilometers in them every day. The NB 997 is highly recommended for marathon runners.

i love color Very light and comfortable. I carry 9 in most brands and this is what I ordered with them. Fits great. I'm breaking them in now, just walking around every day, but I'll start breaking them in soon.

It seems like New Balance simply added more upper material to the standard-width sole and abandoned it. My feet fell over the edges of the soles. I sent it back right away. The construction was good apart from this problem. May be suitable for people with narrow feet.

I love New Balance and they are usually very wide. They are very narrow for a 4E. I'm hoping I'll just have to break them when walking around the house, but they hurt my very wide feet a bit.

Use them for my long morning walk with the dog. Mostly concrete pavement with a small patch of mud. strong base and light weight. I'm a "small" size 7 and this shoe fits me.

Fits as expected and is comfortable for me. Running support is ok. I would like more support but it will cost more to get this type of shoes. I speak well for money.

Okay, but v3 was 100x better. Comfortable but cheaper, sole material and much less cushioning. I wear these shoes, I have wide feet, the v3 was so amazing it inspired me to run a marathon. V4 is so ah, it seems lifeless

The orange sole and laces are too light. But they are comfortable, although they have increased in length. The toe guard is not as strong as I expected. All in all, price, wearing comfort, optics and finger protection are okay.

Great for the price. But be careful, moisture will seep through them and soak your socks. Otherwise they are comfortable and fit as expected.

We actually bought these for our 13 year old daughter who has low muscle tone. She needed more comfortable shoes. She used to complain about pain in her feet every day and since she got these shoes she has taken her class on several hikes and hasn't complained about her feet anymore. They are also easy enough for her to tie. So if a parent has a child with poor fine motor skills, these shoes aren't a bad idea!

I always wear 10 x-wide (4E). I currently have a pair of 608v that fit perfectly. This pair did not fit wide feet as advertised and was very narrow in the toe making me feel sore after wearing them for a very short time.

I have only worn these shoes a handful of times due to the nature of the Covid. Nevertheless, the material is already coming loose and, as can be seen in the photo, some seams are unraveling. (Note the almost complete lack of outsole wear for reference). Comfortable, light but poorly finished. Not sure what it is but I've had a pair of these New Balance shoes for a year or two. Low cost for them as it's only been 6 months and as I said they're used very little and are already falling apart.

New balance shoes usually marked as wide. You know. Wide. It's not like this. Her 4s of this version looked like a regular width compared to MANY OTHER nb shoes my friend has. Luckily his little brother is the same size but regular width so we didn't have to deal with returning those damn things.
