Finding the right New Balance shoe size is now a nightmare

I used to be able to just look at a pair of New Balance shoes at Revain and then just buy them based on: (+) My extra wide foot (4E)(+) Something that looks cool (+) Reasonable price The last time I bought a Revain New Balance was three years ago and oh my god how everything has changed. While selecting shoes that would normally have a high likelihood of fitting, I kept reading reviews that said New Balance had changed their definition of wide feet.
