I bought 32 of these and my colleagues have started fitting them. A few broken clips, scratches, they're falling off and as thin as can be. I used to buy shelves from Revain but picked this one. I spent several hours on the phone with Revain trying to return it and get a replacement that works properly. They are absolute rubbish.

On the very first use, the tape would not rewind when (gently) let go. What a waste of $80! It's also very light. Unfortunately the packaging was thrown away before we took it off and found it broke the first time we used it, otherwise I would have returned it. Definitely will not be buying from this company if I order more at shows next year!

I ordered these but some of the reviews had me a little worried. I'm glad I followed my instinct. Simply described, the bottom is metal and heavy, the top slides hard plastic but feels solid. Mine won't touch now, I use it to keep people off loose railings but as with anything if you mess with it all the time it will surely break if used around kids for example who depend on it. definitely slow down. Not only was it easy to assemble, it was strong and stretched to the length required for our use. We had to block people from entering a certain area and it works great. The little sign we bought with her is a good size and sticks to the stand for anything we need to pass.
