Great for small jobs

Works great, just what you need. It takes a long time to heat up, it makes noise like a hair dryer. Ideal for small jobs like embossing. You still have to be careful, but you're less likely to burn yourself.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some flaws

This weapon works great. It really works for my therapist.

This gun works great. It really does its job on my shrink bands and doesn't get too hot. (I was concerned that the heat would alter/damage my product internally, but this gun doesn't!) I also like the small stand. Perfect, not too hot

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Great for quick drying mixed media art projects

This heat gun changed my experience with mixed media. How could I live without her? I didn't need a full blown heat gun. This gives me exactly what I need. It heats up quickly and dries quickly every product I use. You have to be sure you don't get it too close to the color as I've had the color bubble a couple of times but that's total user error.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked well for electronics glue

I replaced the battery on a Nexus 6P which is one of the most difficult phones to use as you have to heat the glue in several places to open the phone. I was a bit skeptical that this bad boy would do his job, but I was pleasantly surprised that he pulled it off. I'm not 100% sure what other people use heat guns for, but if you want to heat glue on electronics this thing will do the trick.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Modern

Good for shrink tubing

Good for shrink tubing. I would expect the plastic housing around the nozzle to melt fairly easily - it's made from ABS plastic which has a glass transition temperature (softens and deforms) just above 100°C (212°F) and is around 200°C (425°F ) melts (liquid). . ). The exhaust air should be just under 400 F, which is well above the temperature at which the ABS will warp. Because of this, the instructions say you shouldn't let it run longer than 8 minutes, but if the withdrawal is difficult at…

Pros
  • Ideal for small households
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Great for pouring paint

My fifth graders used this tool for an art circle. It's perfect for pouring paint as you get heat without the power of a blow dryer.

Cons
  • Older model

No attachments are best in heat guns

Well one of the videos shows some extra attachments that are not included with this heat gun. And it will melt shrink wrap and glue, but not hot enough to melt a low temperature soldier. So if that's your intended use, try something else. But it works great for shrink wrap.

Pros
  • USE
Cons
  • boring packaging
