I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

This is my first SLR. I am happy with everything. As a camera, it performs all its functions. The build quality and photo quality are top notch. I thought about buying a Canon 600D, but I liked the Nikon D5100 more for its weight. Canon seemed "frivolous" and flimsy device. This is of course a subjective opinion :) Examples of photos from 18-55VR (they are processed in LightRoom): http://fotki. . Ru/users/shadrin-an90/

Pros
  • Low noise at high iso.
Cons
  • When I inserted the flash card, I hardly got it back - it got stuck. Having made an effort, he nevertheless got it, but still something prevents getting it. I don’t know if this is a minus of a camera or a card (I haven’t tried other flash drives). To some, the small size of the camera may seem like a disadvantage. But I, having rather big palms, want to say that it does not cause any inconvenience (to me personally).

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I have no regrets about the purchase, the equipment is good. I bought in 2022 for 24 thousand. Subjectively, Canon in a similar price category thinks faster when focusing and photographing (the whale lens may be to blame, I haven’t tried it with another yet). I compared it with the Canon 600D, leaned towards Nikon, and was bribed by the "ringing" sharpness of the pictures. Canon pictures are noisy with color noise even at low ISO, compared with whale lenses. However, I would not regret buying

Pros
  • The ratio of price and quality of equipment and photographs at the output are adequate. Assembled well. For a year of average use, nothing creaked or fell off. Good video quality. Pictures are sharp. Up to ISO 800, there is practically no noise. Rotary display. (Sometimes I wish it was touch)
Cons
  • When shooting video, autofocus is audible very well. Very slow in Live View The viewfinder is a bit dark, it is especially felt at night, it is difficult to focus, although the object is seen well with the eye. (I have not tried it on others, most likely they have a similar problem)

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

This is my first SLR camera (Previously only soap dishes and professional film) what can I say. Everything in it pleases except for a couple of shortcomings. As I wrote the whale horror lens, but this is not a secret (for me it was decisive that I overpaid only a thousand for it). Also, my little finger falls off the carcass, although my hands do not seem to be a shovel. At ISO above 1600, it makes noise, and not weakly, although this is not the most popular iso, but if used with inexpensive

Pros
  • 1. Rotating screen 2. The ability to shoot FullHD video (Although if I confess, I shot only 1 time for the test) 3. Good colors
Cons
  • 1. 11 AF points are not as many as we would like. 2. A whale lens can be safely dragged to the trash or taken without it). 3. Large lenses block the AF illuminator. 4. Total 1 programmable button 5. Shutter speed at least 1/4000s. not enough for a 50mm f/1.4 lens on a bright sunny day.

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

I got the impression that Nikon, having inserted a matrix from the D7000, decided to compensate for this in another way. This is a "one-button" camera. For those who buy a DSLR for the first time, it is recommended. The camera is able to surprise. But for those who have used a semi-pro, this is not an option for sure. After buying, without thinking twice (2 months) sold.

Pros
  • 1. Dynamic range. It's great. 2. Really fast aperture matrix. ISO 1600 working without reservations. There is practically no noise. 3. With a very difficult, for any camera, lamp lighting, auto ISO works wonders. It is better than the pre-installed one. Colors are separated perfectly. And there is almost no parasitic yellow or red blocking color. For me personally, this is a big plus. 4. Number of settings. A little less than in the D90. 5. Delete button. Two clicks and the photo is deleted.
Cons
  • 1. I won’t say anything about the weight and size, it’s not for everyone. It’s small and light. 2. Buttons and again buttons. There are almost none. And this is wildly not convenient. True, if you were holding in your hands something that has more of them. 3. Plastic picture, although of excellent quality. Well, there is no life in it. 4. Rotary screen. Because of it, the left side of the camera is devoid of any buttons. And this is also very inconvenient. The button for displaying the settings went up to the right, when in the cameras before, it was from the bottom left, under the finger. Also buttons zoom in/zoom out and start photo browsing went to the right, and the menu became high. In general, the ergonomics are terrible. You need to have two right hands. 5. Liveview is slow (for those who are waiting for the speed of a soapbox). It claps too long. During this time, you can shoot 5 frames through the peephole. 6. The picture as a whole. It is rough, not smooth.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

In principle, normal frames in a jeep for an undemanding user, good ones need to be "sucked out" from the row. A very good matrix in terms of noise. With manual optics, photoananism! For that, it is well implemented in fujifilm. In general, the park of optics, the camera itself is half a kilo, then still in the computer, sit RAWki, show skins, pull ... For an amateur, it can be normal, but not for "advanced amateurs" who need "ALWAYS UNDER HAND "compact camera and good quality on the exhaust…

Pros
  • Very good in the dark and at night, the matrix is \u200b\u200bnoiseless
Cons
  • There are misses on the open Nikon 50mm 1.8g. See comment

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

After Nikon D60 - just fantastic! Matrix from the expensive d7000, lens from the legendary d90 - and all this at a budget price! Take ONLY an 18-105 lens in a kit - it is many times better than the supposedly universal 18-55. And it turns out to be more profitable (18-105 costs 10tyr separately). The 18-105 lens gives a blur, as from a portrait lens, the zoom has a fairly wide range, the ISO is at the level. The compact size of the DSLR, which is nice. Infrared remotes work. Pleasant to…

Pros
  • Everything is alright!
Cons
  • Do not take a whale from 18-55.

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

For many, the abundance of settings and features will seem redundant. The sensor by order of Nikon is manufactured by Sony (Not Sony matrices, namely by order. With certain parameters). This is your camera, unless, of course, you need shock resistance, dust and moisture protection, a large number of focus sensors, an additional display, etc. But this is a different category and a different price tag.

Pros
  • Of course, the swivel screen and FULL HD video. The abundance of settings, the ability to adjust the parameters for themselves.
Cons
  • for the camera of the lower price level and the lower stage of the amateur segment - no

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

A solid camera for those who shoot both photos and videos. Suitable for both beginners and amateurs. When not shooting in bright sunlight, colors often come out grayish or greenish. Often there are problems when setting the white balance. In my opinion, the device is more suitable for those who take pictures of sightseeing and family vacations on vacation, as well as for those who are just learning how to use SLR cameras.

Pros
  • light weight, easy settings, swivel screen, a large number of modes, a popular memory card standard
Cons
  • not the deepest colors, inaccurate settings, no headphone jack, whale lens has not the most convenient distance

Quality of the product is at the level, I will recommend this product

In short, for myself, I defined this device as ideal for most of my needs (street shooting, portrait, kids), although it feels a bit tight in functionality and ergonomics. In particular, the lack of an LCD screen on top is a little annoying, because. I don’t like to stare into the monitor, and the viewfinder, I must admit, is informatively poor. At first, the presence of only one button for quick access to the settings was also annoying, but over time, it came to the conclusion that this camera

Pros
  • EXCELLENT MATRIX, low noise at very high ISOs (usually they also insert the word "even") - 3200 is quite working for itself (the d90 matrix is quietly moaning and noisy lying on the sidelines). A TURNING SCREEN, no matter what photosnobs say, is the most excellent thing, especially when you have a bunch of undersized living creatures at home - children, pets, and even more so when this living creature runs and frolics outside the walls of the cage. I am always for new opportunities. And I often just close the screen and use only the information in the viewfinder. Then your nose can safely rest against the plastic cover of the monitor. EASE OF OPERATION (I feel like photo snobs began to make contemptuous wrinkles on their foreheads) - after my "presumer", the control of this camera seemed just a childish prank with incomparable shooting results. IN-Chamber RAW PROCESSING. And excellent processing! This is the whole thing. Tufu on you, you understand who. Now I can really shoot ALWAYS in RAW and not dump everything into the computer. I translate the photos for the album immediately in the camera in JPG to the desired form, thanks to the excellent resolution of the screen and what the hell from the camera, otherwise I save the negative to the collection. Now the trash began to flow into the computer by an order of magnitude! less. OTHER FEATURES - correction of distortions, alignment, cropping - in general, the set is standard, but only with this camera I really began to use it and found it convenient and practical.
Cons
  • THE LACK OF A "SCREWDRIVER", perhaps the main drawback, which is essentially a hidden premium to the cost of the device, because sooner or later you will definitely want to buy a telephoto, and then, inevitably, a fixed fifty dollars. Then you will know the power of Nikon marketers (unlike Canon, who supply all their cameras with "screwdrivers", but they have their own "cockroaches"). And when you are going to buy a second battery, you will simply hate them, because a 5100 will not work on a real Chinese battery for 20 bucks .. CROP INSTRUCTIONS. Approximately 1.5 from the full manual, which is on the PDF disk. This is probably due to the concern for the forest, which also explains why the PDF file with the "detailed manual" comes with print protection, which in my deep opinion is just disgusting. Not that it would be so critical, but you know, I like to look through the instructions at my leisure, in a small and bright room.

Still a great camera in 2021

This is a great camera to start with as a professional photographer. The camera is really good. Invest some money in better lenses. Standard lenses are fine, but you'll want more.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great SLR for the price.

Great DSLR! Raven has done it again! I was initially skeptical about getting a used camera from an Amazon warehouse. but they proved it's great. The item arrived in much better condition than I imagined. It has almost no scratches and works like a charm.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Revainrating 4 out of 5

In general, not bad with a small minus!

I love this camera! He takes great photos and is very well done! I recommend this camera to anyone and everyone who is looking for a professional camera. But I have to say that I received my camera with no battery and no memory card! Which was such a shame because the site implied it was included with the purchase. I couldn't use my camera for two weeks after I received it because I had to order a battery and memory chip. This really upset me as I was planning on using the camera straight away…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
