Eh, these lights are: Illumination

So don't plug or connect directly to the TJ. I removed the base plates and lined up the remaining holes. I added color matching for setup, but to avoid rapid flashing you need pull-up resistors on the turn signals. You also need to find a ground for the black wire. After installation, they look decent and bright enough. My only real complaint is that they both come with warning lights, which sucks, but it would be easy to just cut the wires to that passenger side board. Hope that helps

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

They look great and work!

Great work! We are upgrading the old headlights on my mother-in-law's Jeep and wanted to add LED taillights. These did their job! The only thing I would criticize is that they require a gasket on the back of the taillight (the plastic touches the bodywork and is dense, not very waterproof. This was remedied by fitting a gasket) and the lights don't have "side" markings ". . . In other words, on the driver's side the lenses/LEDs should be on the left, and on the passenger's side they should be…

Worked, but not without work

So if I didn't have someone willing to make the necessary changes I would send them back. They are not plug and play like the ones I bought for my previous JKU. If you want to do a small project it can be done and it's a great value upgrade. We removed the three screws that came with it. He drilled a small hole in the ground to bring the ground back so he could pass under one of the jeep propellers. On the passenger side we cut the wire to the bottom white light as no signal light is needed on…

Discreet headlights in the lighting

Nilight taillights are nice and bright compared to the OEM. Installation was a problem, but that's not their fault. Narrow in the back of the jeep. Make sure you have a SOLID floor or they won't work. QC does not control their inventory. I received 2 left lights, no left and right light. This means I have a non-existent license plate light on the right side, along with my required left license plate light. It does make my Pink Floyd decal stand out really well though. Someone probably has a…

  • Lots of positive emotions

  • Inconsiderateness

HEAVY DUTY RELAY REQUIRED

Installation was a bit awkward, you have to drill big holes due to the position on the jeep, access was a bit difficult but still possible. Aesthetically it looks a million times better although I wish there wasn't a label in the right light but that doesn't matter at the price. What I didn't expect was that I would have to replace the turn signal relay, but it only cost me about $15 so not a big deal, just a little frustrating because I didn't know what my problem was until I explored it. I…

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Unreliable

For the price of this lighting system you can expect a very simple plug and play system. You are wrong. On a newer TJ model, you will need to remove the vaporizer canister assembly to install these lights as they were constructed with a bolt/nut combination that does not match the factory bolt design. You will need to drill some factory mounting holes, connect the wires to the pigtail/plug yourself, and then install with nuts on the inside of the jeep's side panels. On the passenger side, the…

Worth every cheap dollar, no more

Bought to order a to replace a more expensive set that was not working properly. Arrived here quickly. I like the looks and the simplicity, but there are problems. Please read below.Issues; The lugs make it easier to fit onto an already modified Jeep, but they aren't even dense enough to go through the bodywork, armour, roof rack mounts and light shield. Everything is sealed but I had a lower light cover for this Long gap license plate. If I ferment the water up to the level of the headlights…

Pros
  • Multifunctional combination: each headlight has 39 LEDs, top 12 LEDs for white taillight, middle 12 piranha LEDs for red brake light, bottom 6 LEDs for white license plate light
Cons
  • So far so good

A bulb has already burnt out LEDs!

Wow I'm disappointed in them. So many things if only they worked. First thing I like: 1) I like the brightness of the LEDs. It gets to the point where I may no longer need to buy separate LED headlights as backup lights (which I wanted to do with my old taillights). 2) I like the pattern of the LEDs on the taillight. The brake lights and turn signals illuminate in a circular fashion, which is definitely an aesthetic improvement over the Original Equipment bulbs. Looks very cool! What I hate: 1)

Pros
  • Fit: Universal Fit
