🏡 Nite Bright Address Sign - Whitehall Products - 16x4.5, Black Numbers, White Reflective Background Review

The frame is very easy to install. It seems to be holding up pretty well and comes with plenty of screws for a variety of mounting options. The stuff seems cheap but I paid less than $20 for it so can't complain. I assume the sun will knock it down eventually, but then again anything in direct sunlight will likely fall apart anyway.

We bought this in May 2015. We really liked this sign at first! It was easy to setup and install our address. It looked great and was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, it is generally poorly preserved. You can see in my photo it looks terrible and is an eyesore. We only noticed the blackening about 6 months after installation and it got progressively worse. We must replace it with a better product!

I bought one of these, installed it and was amazed at how good it looked. After 2 days it was on the floor, the broken hinges still screwed to the mailbox post. I don't know what happened, I suspect it was hit by a dog. I wrote it off as an accident and since I couldn't find any replacement brackets I bought another full block. ADVANTAGES: Very easy to assemble and install. Love all the extra digits that you get, the template guides so you can put the digits straight, the many ways to set it up and it looks great during the day. CONS: You can't see it at night without a light shining directly on it. When driving down the street and even entering the lane, you cannot see the numbers at all. Two of these had been installed on adjacent letterbox shelves for about 5 years so I had to search online for a replacement last winter when one of them was destroyed by snow ploughs. Luckily I was able to find an exact match here. What I like: The surface reflects strongly and is very easy to read at night. The original has survived the last 5 years well. PROS: Looks great, reflects and highlights very well. Comes with lots of numbers and the included cardboard templates make them easy to line up and make them even. CONS: Mounted on a wooden pole in my front patio. I pre-drilled the holes as instructed, but when I put the screws in, they began to loosen up to the last few millimeters. Amazing for the price! Looks great. I like the many installation options. It's double sided and extra large (which fits in my larger than usual box). The templates are great. The numbers are plastic, not just stickers (6 pieces of each number included). I followed another reviewer's advice and glued the end caps in place. But I accidentally glued two that I had to open. Very pleased with the look and functionality of this product. For some reason there was never an address tag in my apartment and as a person who often orders from Revain and various restaurants this made me rather uncomfortable. Since I installed it on the front post of my stairs, all my packages have been delivered to my front door instead of being left in post boxes and none of the couriers have had to call my cell phone to find me.
