Possibly the quietest fan you'll find for case cooling

Noctua NF-P12 120mm x 25 fan review. 5 inches). ) I decided this fan can work in my application. I needed a thermostatically controlled fan to keep my solar controller cool. With a 12 volt bypass thermostatic switch here at Revain hooked up to this fan, after a couple of weeks I can now say it works! The Noctura fan is very quiet and moves quite a bit of air, albeit perhaps not the strongest of winds. But for me my fan is mounted literally 5/8" behind my solar controller which is why it works…

An ugly brown but powerful fan.

I have replaced all the fans in my computer case with Noctura fans. I wish there were more color options, but in the end performance was more important than looks. These fans move quite a lot of air and were significantly quieter than the Corsair fans I've had before. I've noticed that the temperature in my case has dropped 2 degrees since I last replaced the fan. That might not sound like much, but I feel like it's a big improvement considering the Corsair fan I replaced started spinning. The…

Noctua is a premium brand and its fans are quiet. Nothing to fault.

Some people complain about the brown color scheme but I don't mind it and clearly shows the brand when you see it. I think they have black fans now so you can choose. I was using this 40mm fan to mount it on an Asus motherboard with the included VRM heatsink bracket and I needed a quiet fan. This is a completely custom build that I made myself when I retired. It has been working 24/7 for a year without any issues and the system is used for video editing. I'm 75 years old and I've learned to…

Probably the best generic 120mm you can buy.

This is one of two good Noctua fans, the other being the NF-F12. It's a little pricey, but the P12 has the best noise-to-airflow ratio above 1000 rpm of any fan I've tried. It has a good weight and gives the impression that Noctua has not skimped on the material. To be honest some of their other fans failed to impress me, but the NF-P12 is close to perfection. I have tried many fans. A LOT OF. The NF-P12 might not be the quietest or have the best airflow, but there's no fan that combines very…

My pick for best heatsink fans is no question

This is my fifth Noctua purchase overall and my second build using their fans exclusively. When it comes to quality and performance, I'm not sure you can do better than one of these brown beauties. Thought it would be wise to write a new review as this is the first one I've bought from Revain. I knew immediately it would be different; The fan does not have the plastic covers on the corners like my previous NF fans installed on my Corsair H60 in my multimedia PC. The PWM version doesn't come…
