The stock Wraith Stealth cooler for my 2600 made a screeching noise so I had to replace it. Heard a lot of positive things about Noctua so I decided to give it a try now that they are making black fans. I threw this thing into my system and I don't even realize it's there. Great CPU cooler! Excellent build quality. Always been a fan of Noctua and have used this cooler in many of my other SSF builds and my last one was in In Win Chopin which is great for cooling the CPU. It's also about the same size as low-profile ram sticks, so they should fit in every possible occasion. Also, this is Noctua and it's an amazing product. Highly recommended.

For normal everyday use and gaming this thing handles 5900x quite well. In Windows 10 I have activated the energy saving mode. This means that all my clock speeds are around 2.1GHz all the time (unless the CPU gets a massive workload, then clock speeds will adjust to something higher), even when I'm playing games. I bought this to use as an absolutely tiny ASRock DESKMINI A300W. This cools the Ryzen 3400g. The Deskmini's stock cooler cried under load. At 100% load, the maximum temperature was 68 degrees Celsius. This Noctua cooler runs under the same load and maxes out at 65 degrees.
