⚡ NORCOLD 61692222 Electrode with Spark Sensing Capability Review

Works with Norcold Fridge as promised. The main thing is that the distance from the probe to the burner is sufficient so that the spark is large enough to ignite the flame.

Was hoping this would solve the igniter problem when we switch to propane. We travel so getting a part that doesn't fit is a little more difficult. Based on the attached photos, the connector shown on the left is what I received. The photo on the right is what I'm replacing. The electrical connection of the board is 1/2 the required size. It plugs directly into the control panel on my Norcold fridge and the cord is already set up and angled to get a nice stable spark for consistent gas ignition. I had to use a small flathead screwdriver to slightly pry the connector end of the heat shrink wrapped wire because it took some force to push it in and I wanted to pry out the blade connection on the control board but once I did it went and stayed on Great.
