Smart design for storage and organization

I really like the design of this honey dispenser. We have a few beehives so honey is always on hand. We've used regular honey jars in the past and that's fine. This dispenser works great when used properly. Just heat the water in the glass stand. I usually heat water in the microwave but don't boil it. Then place a glass container filled with honey on top and wait just a minute. The water heats the honey so it flows easily from the dispenser. I only gave it 4/5 stars because the honey sometimes

It's exactly the same as the Hunnibee except it doesn't have a white cap

I've ordered two of these Norpros and two of the Hunnibee. They are all identical except the Hunnibee has small white caps that can be used when filling the dispenser. I wanted a white cap but I didn't need two caps as I will be leaving two donors at our country house. I need a white cap for each house, not for each donor. They are otherwise identical except the Norpro (uncapped) is much cheaper. I've been using them for a few weeks now and they work well. Now my husband can't get honey over…

Good for honey, not so good for syrup

For honey (thicker than syrup) The bottle does not leak. It is distributed evenly AFTER the first honey ball. It's more convenient than your classic squeeze glass or chopstick glasses. I'm wondering if a regular syrup dispenser (IHOP I think) would be more efficient at dispensing thicker honey. As for the syrup, I don't know why, but it seeps through the seal and slowly fills the rack. I tested it with water first and nothing came out so the plunger may not be seated properly after using it so…

Big attraction, poor efficiency

Sorry baby you're more of a dripper than a dispenser ☹️. I was dying to keep this honey dispenser but it has more cons than pros. 1- The plastic lid is too flimsy and unwieldy to hold on to, especially when the honey is reduced to less than half the container. 2- If the tank is not always full, the flow will be very thin and slow. Not ideal for pick and go times of the day. 3- You have to stuff the bottom with your finger every time you fill it. 4- Most importantly, immediately after using and…

Very pretty and works great!

Very good quality, works great and very cute! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for this cheap price. The jar is heavy and the cup it stands in is also glass and I assumed it was plastic. It was filled with local organic honey and had been on my kitchen counter for less than two days. He received many compliments. It doesn't leak and fills up easily with honey or syrup if you use common sense. Some reviewers complain that it drips all over the bottom when filling. Well folks, the hole…

It would be nice if it actually worked.

Okay, at first I hated this thing simply because I didn't figure out how to fill it before I bought it, and figuring out that you basically have to plug the bottom with your finger seemed awkward and uncomfortable. But to be honest it wasn't bad at all and in the end there weren't any problems with it. Then a few hours passed, and already a lot of honey had flowed out. That's not what the ad says. I'm a realist, a few drops a week would be perfectly acceptable. But at this rate I have to empty…

Pretty and clutter free

Love this dispenser! The handle is plastic so not very high quality but I'm fine with that and I knew that from the reviews. The instructions say you have to put hot water on the floor, I don't do that. Mine drips down a bit so I use it to catch that. When I say little, I mean very little. I've been using it for about a week, the floor isn't covered yet. I use a lot of honey so it's nice to be able to pour it straight into the spoon, less mess. Refilling is EVER difficult, all you have to do is

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Let me just say these dispensers are the best on the market. We keep bees, so we use LOTS of honey. To prevent raw honey from crystallizing, it is best to remove ladles, spoons and knives from the jar. Every time you add something to honey, you're adding particles that speed up the crystallization process. These Norpro dispensers are perfect. Some people say they are difficult to fill. I have to completely disagree. You need to plan ahead and not just pull the plug and watch the honey spill all

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Communication with seller
