I use rope to tie cardboard boxes and recycled paper. I've lost count of the number of times that brand of rope has snapped. A decent, not large line should not break when pulled. I bought two rolls of these. Both roles had strength issues.

I mean what can you say about string? I actually bought this for a few different art projects (mainly to draw large diameter circles with a pencil) but I liked that it's also food safe so I can use it in the kitchen if I ever have one need a tie. chicken or turkey. Comfortable and without complaints!

I never thought I would give a ball of rope 1 star but it deserves it. The one I received didn't look like the Revain photo at all. The shaft interior was filled to overflowing with endless loops, none of which appear to have retractable ends. I suggest getting one locally where you can see the trigger cord being pulled.

Do you know how hard it is to find good yarn? Soft but strong string? Well, here is your product! I have a pair of large and extremely thorny roses on my porch and I had to tie them together so they wouldn't attack the poor postmen. It worked and survived the snowy, windy Michigan winter. I will buy it again when I use this ball.

This thread is strong and does not tangle. Its use is limited only by your needs and imagination. I bought it with no particular use for it but decided to use it for art projects. Instead, I used it to tie an area that people shouldn't walk on and take measurements on a child's uniform (measure with string, cut string and attach to a tape measure to get the measurement). Would buy again.

This is at least the 4th purchase. BECAUSE 1) it fits perfectly on the Norpro Steel canister, 2) it doesn't break easily AND 3) the beginning of the yarn ball is easy to find. I mainly use it in the GARDEN, ie for tying plants. And the 2nd line in the KITCHEN, ie ties of whole chicken, pork shoulder and roast beef. This helps keep the meat close together resulting in a great tasting, EVEN COOKED ROAST. I even tied a cartridge and fired it on a string before slow cooking. granny tutu

I have never used any other brand of yarn but this yarn is amazing. I've used it for all kinds of handyman repairs or crafts. I used it to tie together a broken floor lamp that wasn't even standing, fixed a broken chair, attached a heavy wall lamp to a flat metal candle holder with a heavy wall, used it to tie wood and staples together into a curtain. I've been looking for this type of twine specially designed for tying poultry and meat but I couldn't find it anywhere.
