This was my second paint by number. The brushes that come with it are very good. As long as they held their shape, they were fine. I ended up ordering a better set. I had to add a few drops of water to each paint color so they spread easily and didn't make a big mess. This took almost two weeks but I guess it depends on the person. I bought this in August 2019 and finished it in October 2019 - I try to do one color a day most days. to give you an idea of the magnitude. Some of the more common colors took a few days. Overall this is a great product. Biggest warning, do your best to fix wrinkles before painting! I didn't realize it until I started so the best I could do was glue it firmly to the board. Impressed with the print but the paint is terrible in color and consistency. You don't have to mix colors, but YOU WILL! My advice: buy a bottle of white because you need to lighten the colors if you want to see a difference in the shadows.
