This one is special because it has an easy-to-download "free" app that not only tracks your food, but also tells you what temperature it should be to be safe. When I first got this thermometer it worked great. Connecting via Bluetooth was easy, setting time bands was easy, and for the most part the thing was solid. About a month later it suddenly stopped working. I contacted Revain and got a replacement the next day. It worked well until it stopped working too. I found that by leaving it in the sun (i.e. next to the grill I was cooking my food on) the sun heated it enough to brown the innards. Yes, the thermometer used to measure HEAT stopped working

UPDATE. I accidentally broke the dipstick (my fault, not theirs) and couldn't find a replacement. I contacted their support team and they instructed me to buy a brand new device! I replied that I ONLY needed the role but they never answered me. I changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 star because it doesn't benefit me as I'm broken and IMPOSSIBLE to fix. Go to PlayStore and read reviews of the required companion app (for Android) called "easyBBQ". As you will see, many people had trouble pairing the thermometer with the app. Turns out it won't pair unless Android location services are enabled for that app. You cannot manually pair your phone using the Bluetooth setup commands on your phone.
