Holds two Wii Remotes and doesn't matter if the Nunchuck is connected or not. glows green when it's on and charging, blue when it needs a charge, and can be easily turned off with a gentle push of a button once charging is complete, so you don't need that green glow in the room. Serves as a convenient place to store remotes, eliminates the "where's the remote" hassle! No more need to eat batteries. Very convenient. Good product. Worth the money and very cheap! Nyko Dual Wii Remote Charger (induction model) works as advertised. Chargers in a decent amount of time, although I didn't put a Wii remote on it, which was completely dead. A cool blue light illuminates while charging and turns green when charging is complete. On the back of this device is a powered USB port for charging/powering anything via a USB connection. I bought this charger for my Wii remotes in April 2010 so I can't say I haven't used it much but the unit is almost at the end of its sell by date. I'll say right away that I would recommend it if it weren't for the problems I'm having now. If you don't mind having 4 years of it, by all means buy this thing. Some of the reviews I read about this charger before buying it mentioned that it was difficult to charge Wii remotes with the shells still on. After receiving the charger, I was convinced that this was absolutely true. Remote controls sit very tightly in holders without protective covers. If you put them on and try to charge the remotes, it will be difficult for the magnet to make contact to hold the remote.
