O2COOL Rechargeable Necklace Fan Adjustable Review

This is an amazing little thing that fits my needs perfectly. It's nice when you can walk around with your personal air conditioner at chest height. I especially like that it is paid and has 3 fan speed levels. I bought 2: 1 purple and 1 grey. Purple stays at home and gray stays in the car. Why? Great idea for a small personal rechargeable fan, but O2COOL needs to redesign it to be quieter. Powerful and generates a nice breeze for its size, but is annoying with occasional rattling and generally too much noise. I don't think it would be noticeable at a loud sporting event, but I'm looking for something quieter. 3 stars because I like all the other features except the noise.

I liked the original (base) model that I gave to a friend when I ordered this one. I like being able to move as the air blows on my neck and face. This is not an upgrade other than it has 3 speeds. It doesn't seem to hold a charge very long and takes hours to charge (not great when we're hot and the house is hot). I recommend the original model (with batteries) if it's still available, but I don't recommend this one.

Not a bad product for the price. It's lightweight, rechargeable (one charge lasts several hours), but don't expect it to keep you cool on very hot days. It doesn't have enough power to blow air in your face while hanging around your neck. Most of it goes in the neck area. A little loud but not loud enough for others to hear. The material looks cheap, don't know how long it will last.

Finally after a delay in delivery and then a mistake by my last postman. I finally got my O2COOL chain fan from my neighbor. The fan is ok but a bit noisy and the air only comes out of the top vents. I was hoping it came from a real little fan and vent. I was going to return it but decided to keep it because the necklace feature will come in handy when you go, also I prefer other small portable fans because they are quiet and have many features.

I don't know why so many people have complained about the noise. Compared to the noise level, the concert I attended was practically silent, even on the highest setting. I can't stand the heat at all and it was 88 degrees, no wind and lots of humidity. Normally I would pass out. However, both the charge and I took over 3 hours. My daughter recommended it after purchasing it because she plays in a live band with a busy outdoor summer program. She wasn't wrong! It's not the same as air…

I have been using O2COOL products for many years. I was impressed that most of their fans are very economical yet efficient enough to make the air useful. I've used a similar version of this fan that runs on 2xAA batteries for a long time and found it reliable. However, this one isn't as good for everything as it looks.
