Titanium 31.8-perfect fit for 27mm post-Specialized women's road bike.

I read answers by the seller that the 31.8 should fit a 27mm seat post and that is accurate for me. It is a snug fit onto the frame tube but tightens down beautifully. Now both my taller son and I can use the bike without a lot of trouble. I'm not an avid cyclist but can't see why spending more than $10 for a quick release seat clamp would be worthwhile. I like the titanium color also.

best clamp for your money

Great clamp works well on my 2013 Diamondback with race face seatpost. Only thing it does scratch easily but no biggie. Love it for the price. Buy buy buy buy.

Very good replacement

This seatpost clamp fits as expected and holds the seatpost securely. It is relatively lightweight and opens and closes easily.

Pros
  • Purchased two to replace bolts on our Specialized bikes. Quality releases.

  • The quick release mechanism may wear out over time

threading gave out quickly

First two time I tightened it down it did well and held the seat in place well, third time I went to tighten the quick release lever down, the threading completely gave out. Not much use at all if you can't loosen and tighten it often

Clamp used on a steering wheel.

I didn't use it for a bike. Used part of the clamp for a swivel knob for a steering wheel on a boat. Replaced the crew for a shorter one and. vualá!If it helps. here's the picture!

Fits/Works perfect: my feedback

I measured the outside of my seat post and it looked to exactly 31.8mm so I ordered the 31.8mm seat clamp, put it on and it fits and works perfectly.

  • So far so good! Held tight on 5 rough single track rides so far.
