Costs a few bucks more

After purchasing a Swingline punch with a paper guide that kept slipping and making off-center holes, I decided to spend a few bucks more on a heavier, better quality Acco-Style punch. to invest punches. This thing is strong, non-slip, and will punch through a good stack of paper. Highly recommended.

The chute tends to move too easily when a group of papers bump into it.

Again a decent weight punch that sits where it should, the carriage tends to move too easily when it bumps into a group of binder papers that I need holes in and cuts again he not clean, and points (chubby) distributed throughout the office.

Poor design, best of all hand tools

I am in the process of buying a new punch to replace this 2 hole punch I bought from Revain. Cons: The guide doesn't stay in place so you can't line up the holes consistently. Pros: Cuts through large stacks of paper if you can aim right at the center of the page. No use for me when punching large contracts, I tried to tape the alignment sheet in place but then the paper stuck to it. I tried to glue it but it ended up peeling off too. Terrible design!

HEAVY METAL for rock drills

Exceptionally well made. HEAVY METAL. Will last for years and decades. The only scam I can find is a slide sensor that will center any size paper you can punch with two holes. It's spring loaded so it can move if you don't want it to. I'm not sure why the manufacturers don't just weld a small tab under the main body with a thumbscrew that RELIABLY stops and holds that slider measurement in one spot. This isn't rocket science. This is also an exceptionally well-made 2-hole punch. I'm very glad I

If only the holes were far enough down the page.

Conceptually, I like this punch. It's attractive, sturdy, well-made and has a huge slide-out chip compartment. However, at least on the device I received, the holes are not standard on other hole punches. The hole distribution is ok; however, it doesn't go far enough down the page. This is 1/8 inch smaller (by measurement) than standard 2H stamps.
