I bought this for my 11 year old son, we are in Chicago and the winters are harsh. He loves to! I've also worn it (it fits well because it's for kids) but I can also confirm that it's very warm. It protects well from the wind. And if necessary, it can easily be pulled under the mouth/chin.

My son was very warm and the snow stayed out. But he (4 years old) complained that he had a hard time breathing in it, so we had to take it off.

Fits my almost 3 year old. Roomy for future growth but adjustable so I can pull it up now. His sensitive cheeks were cracked/burned by the wind and that solved the problem. Very happy!

They were a little smaller than I expected but they fit my 9 year old and 7 year old twins. They warmed their faces in the snow. However I will have to buy something else next year as these hardly fit them this year.

I love this piece for my 2 year old daughter. She didn't bother to take it off and it was comfortable and warm. It is a thick material that washes well. It's a little big, but it doesn't bother. A much better option than messing around with a hat and scarf separately.

I love these they fit my 5 and 3 year olds great and they can wear them for years as they grow up. They are soft, have a good weight and wash well. For cold Iowa winters and freezing temperatures on the playground, and they're awesome. We buy a backup copy for each child.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter for this snowboarding season and so far we love it. It's warm, versatile, washes well and lasts all day in the snow. My son loves it too and sometimes just wears it at home as a suit. hahaha This is very valuable, especially when you consider that it is versatile and well made.

We have to go to school next door. Considering it's in Memphis, it's pretty warm there. Although the wind REALLY picks up in the winter. Last year my kindergarten kid walked BEHIND me to protect himself. I bought 2 of these for my almost 3 year old who is about to start first grade to prepare for the coming winter. I will say they appear small but I also think my 3 year old almost 3 year old has a huge head! For $10 each these are ok, they are very soft.

My 4 year old daughter loves this balaclava so much she wants to wear it all the time. It seems a bit big for her little head but I like that she can use it for a few winters as she gets older. She keeps her warm when we go sledding without fear of falling off like she has a hat on. I also like the windbreak that covers the mouth and cheeks. Last year I had to wrap an oversized scarf around her neck that was so chunky. That works great.
