🔪 OLFA 9069 UltraSharp Black Snap-Off Heavy-Duty Blade, 18mm, Pack of 50 – Effective Cutting Tool for Professionals Review

Many blades. The blades are very sharp (as they should be). OLFA blades fit several of my utility knives. Lastly, I filled them with DeWalt 18mm blades. Now I have these OLFA blades. Interchangeable. The cost is $0.59 per blade. Great blades, great price.

This is the sharpest blade I have ever used. I use them for cutting wallpaper where a clean cut is important. Wet paper can be torn and cut with anything but a super sharp blade. I also use the smaller Olfa Black blade. This blade's tear-off feature allows you to essentially replace a blade with the inconvenience of reloading a new blade.

I don't know, every day. I wear trousers and have a special pocket for knives because I need knives at work. I carry a utility knife with me everywhere. I gave up all-purpose knives because of the expensive blades and the constant blade changes. These blades last a very long time and to replace them I just snap off a blunt piece. I will never go back to Stanley knives and blades.

These are great replacement blades for my Olfa knife. The case they come in is easy to open and most importantly easy to close and store without fear of the blades falling out. The blades appear to come with some packaging oil which is great as they don't rust. The blades aren't razor sharp, but that's what you'd expect from a disposable knife blade.

I've used knives and blades from many other manufacturers over the years and consider Olfa knives and blades to be the best, period. These blades are my favorites and I will probably never use any other. For some applications Olfa Speed Blades are better, but the price/performance ratio is not worth it to me. Over the years we have bought thousands and thousands of these blades and found the quality to diminish after OLFA changed the design but not the part number. This change appears to have taken place around 2019 and is easily recognized by the box of 50 blades being yellow (good) and blue (bad). These "blue blades" do not retain the same sharpness as previous versions. I like it. Every time I tear off a new piece of styrofoam, it fills me with joy. The black version definitely cuts longer. It stays sharp for more cuts and is simply stunning to look at. If you are one of the few who like clean cuts, you will want this in your life. Currently. I rarely use other blades/cutters. For me, there is no weak knife #2. No need to buy 10,000 small blades.
