They die fast: Heat lamps

I ended up buying a heating pad for my frog because I had to keep changing lightbulbs. Petco and Petsmart's appear to be short-lived.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I had to buy a ceramic heater.

burning out quickly. My first blew up at around the two week mark. On my second now. Although they look purple, mine almost reflect like a very matte soft white.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • you could choose a newer model

Took a little more than 2 weeks

Lightbulb no longer works. In the past I have seen night light bulbs last over a year. It didn't even last a month. Was very gentle with him, an experienced reptile owner. Just stopped working.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Expensive

Best NOT to buy from Heat Lamps

Both bulbs have already burned out, they haven't been moved, they haven't been hit yet, both died and both died in the middle of the night so my snake habitat got dangerously cold . I bought them at the end of June, that's the beginning of October, each bulb lasted a month and a half.

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Zero

Good heating/minimum visible light

Unfortunately, my chickens were born in October. Yes. I'm an idiot. They were 1 to 6 days old and couldn't be outside in the cold Indiana fall so they were at my house. I had a clear bulb and used it until it blew out. I replaced it with a Revain GE clear bulb, which blew out in less than 48 hours. Then I found this product. Chickens, cats, dogs and I ALL liked this onion a lot more. It wasn't as warm as clear bulbs, but it worked 24/7 without glare. The chickens are now (hopefully) big girls…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
