Pure garbage. in water pumps

I read the reviews before purchasing the bearing and most were very negative. I only needed one bearing and was hoping to buy two then one of these would be good. No, both camps were pure junk. Shafts wobbled in bearings. I installed both and let the fan oscillate back and forth on each. I should have listened to the earlier bad reviews and saved my time and money. PURE GARBAGE! Revain should stop using them as this will in no way affect their reputation or the good reputation of the product. I

It fits Jeep XJ, not identical but suitable.

I want to try it because I just installed it and so far it works fine and quiet. I have to say I messed up my first one and had to buy a second one as I found it cheap in other reviews but on the second try I ended up using a press and a few other things (sockets, pipes, washers and a mandrill to fix it to be installed in place without putting pressure on the bearing itself or the shaft after a few thousand km.

Do not buy, the bearing is junk!

Bought this stock despite some reviews being both good and bad. After receiving this bearing, I could tell that it wasn't very smooth. I installed it when I needed to get my daughter's car back on the road and immediately I heard the bearing make a terrible noise. Worse than original after 208,000 km. After much research I replaced it with a US made bearing and what difference does it make, smooth, no noise, no play on the fan pulley. Save time and hassle by buying a bearing made in the USAโ€ฆ

Do not use on Cherokee fan idler

Began making noise after a factory store lasted over 300,000 miles. I couldn't find an exact match. There are rumors on the internet that this part of OMIX-ADA works. While technically correct, it's unlikely to last long. Roller/ball bearings ex works. omix - ball / ball. My Omix lasted less than 1000 miles and quickly and completely failed within 50 miles. Finally, the fact that the fan hit the radiator and spit out the serpentine belt in 110-degree weather was terrific. Save a lot of time and

. I bought this product for my son who has a '98 Jeep XJ. The reason for this is that the clutch fan bearing in the AL case has 260,000 miles and makes horrible noise. After researching online I could have bought an entire AL mount with a new bearing for about $230 but I declined. I found a YouTube video of a guy rebuilding a 4.0 and he discussed and advised on the problem as well as the part number. So I searched and found a part on Revain. So the part came out and the part was online so onโ€ฆ

Bad stock - no good

I must have a bad one. It was not good. As soon as I took it out of the box, I tried it and was immediately worried. It seemed to spin very easily and almost stop. I felt like there was no lubrication. But as an optimist, I went ahead and pushed it. And I've been doing it this way for years, i.e. correctly pressed in and the fan hub pressed in correctly. I installed it in a jeep and put a fan on it. That's when I realized I couldn't let it go. The fan had a lot of play, you could literallyโ€ฆ

Cheap quality stock

. I used it to replace the fan pulley on a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. This part actually failed within 100 miles, as did a few other reviewers here, but I found this was due to the flange warping when I removed it from the old part. This gave the fan a horrible wobble that completely destroyed that part almost immediately. I can't blame this part for failing so early, but I'm deducting a star because it's definitely a low quality bearing. Should the same happen to anyone else (which I suspect readingโ€ฆ

Not very good. good for engine cooling and air conditioning

Ordered this item to replace a noisy fan clutch shaft bearing in a 1998 Cherokee. The factory says this is a maintenance free component, but a little research has shown this part to be an exact replacement for a worn, noisy bearing. It's quite difficult to remove the bracket holding this bearing. Pressing the old one out of its holder isn't too bad with a hydraulic press. When the new bearing (made in India) arrived I measured it and compared it to the old one I squeezed out. The diameters were
