I bought this hoping to solder sculptures out of it. And he's perfect for it! It is well soldered, beautiful and durable. I thought 12g was flimsy because I'm used to 12g copper, but this material is steely and very hard. I had to put it in a drill to straighten it and that just made it stiffer from hardening. Great for what I need it for. Excellent stuff. Would buy again.

I use this wire for trellis. It seems strong, but the grapes aren't hanging from the wire yet. The wire was strung between two 4 x 4s. It's not quite straight as the wire is slightly bent by the winding. I'm sure there is a way to make it perfectly straight, but for my purposes it works great. Easy to use and bend to avoid sharp edges after cutting.

I bought this to make fairy wings based on the tutorial and it hurt my hands. I'm a weightlifter and use heavy machinery in the yard and it's almost impossible to bend with tools. I gave up on my wings and eventually have to find another wire, but I hurt my arms trying to bend this wire night after night for weeks. Judging from other tutorial followers, their wire of the same gauge isn't that difficult to bend and I'd love to find one.

My wife and I were delighted to receive this item. To our extreme disappointment, despite the description, the item is NOT multicolored, but clearly one color. In this case, the color of the object does not matter. Before we retired, my wife and I had a lot of experience in processing various sizes of galvanized wire on an industrial scale. The wire is a good example of this and fits perfectly with our current needs. I wonder if the writer of the item description really bothered to research it…

I needed about 40 of these Hidden Wire Shelf Brackets to retrofit bookshelves around my home. I couldn't find them anywhere so I decided to make them myself. This wire is perfect for this purpose. The picture shows the original device above and the self-made device below. The wire is 12 gauge in standard gauge, not 12 gauge in US gauge. That's a good deal for 100 feet of wire, but keep in mind what you're going to hang or fix with it. I bought this wire to hang large canvas paintings (3ft x 6"+) and while it works I think it might be overkill for everyday chores and indoor hanging unless you are talking about the museum size and the weight of paintings/objects. .It is made of steel and is quite thick for a 12 gauge so unlike aluminum wire of the same gauge it was quite difficult to cut with my household wire cutters and stayed
